What it costs, before you ask.
Almost nobody in this industry publishes their fees. I'd rather you knew what you were walking into including the reasons the number sometimes moves.

Fees shown are for straightforward cases for a single applicant. Complex cases, and applications that include a partner or children, are quoted individually.
Factors we take into account:

A previous decline, or a history of being unlawfully in New Zealand or another country.

Health or character matters that require a waiver or supporting submissions.

Information already held by Immigration New Zealand that is incorrect, incomplete, or requires careful clarification and explanation.

The evidence available particularly in partnership cases, where demonstrating that a relationship is genuine and stable is one of the most common grounds for decline. The quality and availability of evidence can also be critical in relation to work experience requirements for an AEWV application.

The need for detailed legal submissions or correspondence with third parties.

Changes to immigration instructions while your application is being processed.
Immigration New Zealand fees are not included in our fees. You pay them directly to INZ. The actual fee depends on your nationality, where you apply from, the type of visa, and whether a partner or children are included in the application.
Other costs such as medicals, specialist assessments, police certificates, English tests, translations and qualification assessments are also separate and paid by you.
These extra costs should be part of your budget. Your engagement letter will set out an estimate of each one, or the actual cost where it is known, so you can plan ahead with confidence.
