Meet Audrey

I'm Audrey Avry, the adviser behind Abeona Immigration, based in the beautiful coastal town of Kaikōura. I came to New Zealand as a migrant myself, so I know first-hand how complex and how personal the immigration journey can be. That experience is exactly why I started Abeona.
Before founding Abeona, I spent several years working as a visa assistant alongside a senior Licensed Immigration Adviser at a Christchurch consultancy, supporting clients through a wide range of visa and compliance matters. That hands-on experience taught me how Immigration New Zealand really works in practice not just in theory. Earlier in my career I also worked in compliance-focused roles with a Chamber of Commerce, a law firm, and a consumer association.
I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice (GDNZIA). I'm a provisionally licensed immigration adviser, working under the supervision of Senior Licensed Immigration Adviser Andy O'Dell (Licence No. 201700420) which means you get my dedicated, personal attention backed by experienced oversight on every case.
Now a proud permanent resident of this whenua, I'm here to help others build their own life in Aotearoa — with clear, honest, down-to-earth advice at every step.
